CLAMAV GUI on PCLINUXOS 2007

Satisfied with Hardy Heron on my notebook, now turn my office computer I installed Linux operating system. This time I want to try other distributions of Linux, eventually fell on the choice pclinuxos 2007 distro that is using KDE Environment as the GUI default-nya. by default. Ubuntu adapt GNOME although this also provides a version of KDE, Kubuntu. Because it is the office computer, so I do maintain that the old operating system (Windows XP), dual-booting it happens.

On my Hardy Heron I use avast! Linux Home Edition, on pclinuxos 2007 I also want to try antivirus that recommended by the distro, namely clamav. This antivirus software can be run directly with the text mode via terminals (such a command prompt in Windows). However, we can add klamav as a GUI application of this antivirus. We also infuse dazuko, and will get additional features such as real-time scanning antivirus software like on Windows OS in general. And easy way to do this, all that we can directly obtain from the Synaptic Package Manager! hohoho….
